Their music has twice been featured on NPR's Thistle & Shamrock music program. All three have played in numerous musical groups spanning styles as diverse as Classical\, Appalachian\, Celtic & Alternative. Mike holds a masters degree in music performance and ethnomusicology. Mike is a prolific composer and arranger\, contributing exciting original material to the mix.\n\nIn addition to teaching private students\, Alice and Mike have studied every summer with traditional Irish master teachers at the Augusta Heritage Workshops\, The Swannanoa Gathering\, Boxwood School in Nova Scotia\, Zoukfest in Albuquerque\, NM and the East Durham Irish Music Camp.
