DESCRIPTION:The Garrett County Chamber of Commerce invites all Chamber members to join us virtually on January 13 at 11 am for our January Marketing Roundtable: Hometown Grant Discussion. This is a virtual event. \n\n\n\nMaryland Governor Larry Hogan recently awarded each county's tourism marketing organization a special Hometown Grant to drive visitation to each county. The goal of the grant is to purchase advertising to increase spending in our hometowns: at each county's attractions\, lodging\, stores\, restaurants\, etc. Garrett County received the eighth highest grant award in the state and we want to hear from you on how you think we should spend this special grant to help drive visitation to Garrett County. \n\n\n\nFree to attend but limited to Chamber members.
