Training includes instruction on state firearm law\, home firearm safety\, handgun mechanisms and operation\, and a component that requires the applicant to demonstrate gun safety and proficiency with a minimum score of 70% accuracy.\n\nRequired materials:  Eye and ear protections\, and your firearm and ammunition (see below).\n\n\n\nThe Maryland Wear and Carry Permit is the Permit to Carry a Handgun in Maryland.   Permit requires 16 Classroom Hours\, fingerprinting with background check\, application\, and a good and substantial reason.\n\n\n\nSchedule:\n\nSaturday 10/21/17 8am-5pm\n\n8 Hours:\n\n\n\nRequired: Eye and ear protection.
