SUMMARY:Ribbon Cutting Celebration at the Meadow Mountain Trail
DESCRIPTION:Garrett Trails Nonprofit Organization cordially invites you to the Meadow Mountain Phase II ribbon cutting ceremony. The phase II segment runs from Frank Brenneman Road to Otto Lane along the Continental Divide\, all a part of Garrett Trail's main vision of the Eastern Continental Divide Loop Trail System. The project was funded through the Maryland Heritage Areas Authority. \n\n\n\n?The Meadow Mountain Phase II segment came up short over 3000 feet while under construction\, expending \n\nall of the grant funding and leaving part of the trail unfinished. The remaining unfinished trail would cost $50\,000 \n\nin which Garrett Trails did not have within their fiscal year budget. Garrett Trails decided to move forward with the \n\nconstruction\, and finish the segment. It is with great hopes that the organization can regain some of the loss that \n\nwas not initially budgeted for by holding the BUY A FOOT BUILD A TRAIL FUNDRAISER. Be sure to check out \n\nGarrett Trails' current fundraiser\, where you are able to purchase a foot of trail in an effort\n\nto support the organization and their efforts. BUY A FOOT BUILD A TRAIL!
