DESCRIPTION:The Garrett County Chamber of Commerce invites Chamber members to this special presentation by the Maryland Tourism Coalition. \n\n\n\nThe Maryland Tourism Coalition advocates on behalf of Maryland's tourism industry\, requesting funding for promotion and advertising from the Maryland General Assembly and the Executive Branch of Government. MTC is a membership-based organization who represent every aspect of the tourism industry.\n\n\n\nRuth will give an overview of MTC including the benefits of being a MTC member\, review the MTC legislative platform\, discuss their annual Maryland Tourism & Travel Summit to be held in November in Cambridge\, MD and she'll highlight their annual tourism awards for individuals and businesses that are awarded at the annual Maryland Tourism & Travel Summit Awards Banquet. \n\n\n\nThe event is free to attend but is limited to Chamber members and registration is required as space is limited to the first 30 people.
