DESCRIPTION:The Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA) in partnership with economic development agencies for Washington\, Allegany\, Garrett\, and Frederick counties will hold a Regional Buy-Local Expo.  The event will provide an opportunity for Western Maryland growers and producers to connect with buyers from grocery retailers\, restaurants\, schools\, institutions\, and other venues. \n\n\n\nThe Buyer and Grower Expo is geared toward connecting Western Maryland growers and producers interested in finding new markets with regional restaurants\, hospitals\, schools\, growers\, and other venues and service providers.  At the expo\, buyers will find local fruits and vegetables\, meats (such as beef\, turkey\, lamb\, pork\, goat)\, cheeses (cow and goat)\, and specialty products\, including locally made ice cream\, soups\, flour\, wine and more.\n\n\n\n**Out-of-County Regional Event**
