Support Crellin Sidewalks: Community Letter Writing Workshop

Support Crellin Sidewalks: Community Letter Writing Workshop

Garrett County is continuing efforts to improve sidewalk conditions and pursue safer pedestrian connections within the Crellin community, including connections toward Crellin Elementary School.

The project has already received federal Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) funding for Phase 1 design and engineering, and the County is now seeking additional grant funding to provide the required local match and continue advancing the project.

Community support matters — and your voice can help strengthen the application.

Residents can:

  • ? Learn about the project
  • ? Share experiences and concerns
  • ? Write a support letter
  • ? Receive guidance and example language
  • ? Help support safer walking connections in Crellin
Can’t attend? Letters may also be submitted online through Wednesday, July 8, 2026. Letters may be handwritten or typed.
